Canviq ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our feedback platform.
We collect information you provide directly: your email address, display name, and any content you submit (feedback, votes, comments). We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information.
We use your information to provide and improve the service, send notifications about your submissions, and communicate important updates. We do not sell your personal data. When you submit survey responses, open-text answers may be processed by AI (Anthropic Claude) for automated sentiment analysis to generate PMF scores and segment insights. No personal identifiers are included in data sent to Anthropic.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use optional analytics cookies to understand how the service is used. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time.
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights through your profile page or by contacting us at privacy@canviq.app.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, we anonymize your content after a 30-day grace period and permanently delete your personal information.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest (AES-256), and regular security audits to protect your data.
When you complete a survey powered by Canviq, your open-text responses may be analyzed using artificial intelligence to detect sentiment and themes. This analysis is performed by Anthropic (claude.ai) under a Data Processing Agreement. Anthropic does not use your responses to train its AI models.
